The Cove Creek Club operates with annual dues and fees. Dues and fees are recommended by the board and voted on by the membership. Individual charges to members for participation in special events and functions, purchases or services are invoiced monthly.
Our community has remained exceptionally strong financially during the current recession and has adequate reserves.
With the amenities that we enjoy on 250 acres of community waterfront property including our highly-rated, beautiful golf course, boating, private beach, nature trails and wildlife preserves, we have a truly remarkable number of features that benefit all of our members.
Dues
The current dues for year 2024 are $6,616 per year, paid annually or quarterly. The dues cover all the operating expenses of the community and provide members with access to all the amenities of the Club. Only modest fees as described below are assessed for unlimited play on the golf course at any time, and for rental of a boat slip in the marina
Bag Tag Fee
The current annual golf fee is $75 per household. This is assessed one time per year and affords unlimited play on the well-groomed golf course at any time of the year, with no tee time requirements or starter. Play on the course is self-controlled, making an ideal facility for those learning the skills and rules of the game, and challenging enough for an enjoyable round for more experienced golfers.
Boat Slips
The current minimum slip fees range from $825 to $1600 depending on boat size. The marina offers convenient services with fueling pump, electricity, water, pump out station and security lighting. The jetty-protected channel to the Bay is dredged annually in the spring, and our location provides a pleasantly short water trip to most any port on the Chesapeake Bay.
Capital Contribution
There is a capital contribution of 3 times the annual assessment assessed at time of settlement when a home is purchased. This contribution assists with the operation of the club and supports the Capital Reserve fund for the financial security of the community.
